You are reading FiveX’s privacy statement. FiveX is a seller platform where entrepreneurs gain insight into market demand and use software to manage their business. Content on marketplace-related topics may also be presented. Whenever we collect personal data about you, you should understand what happens to it and how you can indicate your wishes. Privacy settings and use of personal data

This document informs you about how we use personal information when you use our service. As a rule we do not share your information beyond what this privacy statement describes. We may collect data you voluntarily provide—such as e-mail address, name, telephone number, mailing address, bank account details and similar identifiers (“personal information”)—needed to identify, contact or bill you.

Your browser may also send technical information when you use our services (“log data”), for example IP address, browser type and version, pages visited, timestamps and aggregated statistics.

We may use third-party analytics (for example Google Analytics) to monitor and analyse usage so we can improve the service. Providers of such analytics apply their own privacy policies.

When we act as a processor for our customers, we process personal data on their behalf in support of the service—for example importing order data from linked marketplaces. Order data received from retailers or platforms may include personal details of buyers; retention and onward use follows this statement and contractual agreements.

We ask you to enter certain information once when you create your account so you do not need to repeat it for every shipment. Combined with integrations, such data powers fulfilment workflows. Customer support exchanges (e-mails, tickets) may be stored on FiveX-managed systems so we can help you efficiently without retracing conversations.

We may tailor communication and reminders about product changes or subscription dashboards. Newsletter mailings rely on addresses you supplied; unsubscribe links appear in each mailing.

Payments are routed through trusted payment providers (such as Mollie). Sensitive payment flows use encryption (TLS/SSL); our payment partner processes payments using industry-standard security.

We may invite you voluntarily to lightweight surveys so we can improve the product.

Where FiveX exposes invoices for webshop purchases, backing customer records may be kept for limited periods consistent with bookkeeping and contractual needs; afterward data may no longer remain available automatically in-portal—you may need refreshed exports from originating channels.

Retailer API connections may expose order counts necessary for metering and entitlement; substantive personal business data stays under customer control according to contractual terms.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to personalise content, deliver social integrations and measure traffic; partners may aggregate these signals according to their own policies. Cookies that are strictly necessary may be placed without consent; preference, analytics and advertising cookies rely on documented consent banners where required. You may adjust choices through on-site tooling; disabling cookies can impact features.

Right to access

You may request an overview of the personal information we retain about you by contacting FiveX electronically or by telephone.

Right to rectification

If data is inaccurate or outdated, ask us to correct it. Newsletter preferences normally include links for self-service updates.

Right to data portability

If you move to another service, we can provide your data in a structured, machine-readable manner where feasible.

Right to erasure

You may request deletion of personal data FiveX retains, subject to legal retention obligations.

Right to lodge a complaint

Where applicable, complaints may be submitted to your local supervisory authority if you believe we handle data unlawfully.

Reach us at [email protected]. When validating identity we may ask for proportionate confirmation and, when receiving ID copies, we request that irrelevant fields (photos, MRZ strips, nationality numbers etc.) are redacted securely.

Artificial intelligence (AI)

We do not disclose user data from our application to third-party large language-model providers for advertising or training. Privacy-by-design informs product decisions. We disclose the categories collected in this statement and product documentation.

Consent and configuration options help you steer optional analytics whenever they exist.

Children

Our services are not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child disclosed personal information to FiveX without appropriate consent, contact us—we will cooperate to erase data where lawful.

Security measures

Electronic transmission carries inherent risk; nonetheless we operate controls including access safeguards, hardened infrastructure, credential discipline and MFA where applicable. You must protect account credentials—notify us promptly if misuse is suspected so we may respond.

Third-party websites and integrations

Sites or features may link out to independent vendors. FiveX neither controls nor endorses them; interactions may be governed by those providers’ own terms/policies.

Full use of FiveX commonly requires integrations (for example advertisements, storefronts or marketplace APIs). Connecting an integration may entail sharing personal data pertinent to fulfilment sync. Google integrations follow the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use.

We rarely store plaintext passwords from third-party systems—but API credentials or OAuth tokens may be persisted under strict controls.
